This project combines both an audio essay I narrated, and an interview I conducted with my grandfather.  I attempted to highlight the frequently overlooked diversity of European Americans in discussions of American immigrants.  While a slightly different focus from the war stories of my remediation project, this still follows the theme of emigration to America, and includes my grandfather's story.  Instead of a typed paper or article, the audio essay and interview have combined into one video, featured below.  As the star of my original work and the repurposing project, my grandfather comes to life in the remediation project for a live testimony .
